Surface Magic Repairs is built on very high repair standards, and the business relies heavily on the collective standards of every technician. The more knowledge we acquire, the better we can serve you.
Training is of the highest importance here. We firmly believe that continual learning and advancement in our repair systems benefits both our clients and our team. We've become one of the fastest-growing premier surface repair companies in the North West — and we believe that's down to our modern, innovative repair systems.
"The old-fashioned repairs are no longer good enough — now is the time to think bigger. Innovation for us began with knowing our customer; that was the first place we focused, and we've invested heavily in research and development this year. It's paid off."
— Rebecca Diamond, Managing Director
The construction industry is facing a shortage of skilled workers, with an ageing workforce set to retire in the next few years and a lack of interest from younger people. In November 2019 we opened our in-house training centre and dedicated time and support to providing continuous advanced repair training to all our teams. It's had a positive impact on staff retention — and it's attracted new talent from across the North West.
All Surface Magic technicians are up to date with the latest innovative repair systems, and we use modern products and materials rather than the old approach of filling and painting by eye. Our Technical Director has spent many hours testing and refining an advanced digital colour-matching system that our technicians now use with ease in the field.
"We aren't content with being the best — we want to be better. We are dedicated to investing in changing technologies. As long as we keep learning better and faster techniques, we'll keep growing as a business and help contribute to more skilled construction workers in the North West."
— Paul Dorning, Technical Director
